IGEM 2011 was a great success, both for the EU Pavilion and the exhibition and conference as a whole. With almost 50,000 visitors from over 40 countries, the word about GreenTech and Eco Products from Malaysia and around the world is definitely spreading! With the dates set for next year's exhibition (10th- 13th October 2012), now is the time to stake your place in the EU Pavilion 2012!

For the first time, Siemens Malaysia were the sponsors of the EU Business Lounge, located in the EU Pavilion, which provided a spacious, comfortable and welcoming place for the exhibitors at the EU Pavilion to inform and enlighten potential clients.

For the second time, EUMCCI in collaboration with the EUMCCI EGGT Committee, produced the book 'Green Technology from Europe' featuring an update of the Committee's position paper - which originally appeared in the EUMCCI 'Trade Issues and Recommendations 2011' - with updates relevant to the recent changes in Malaysian legislation, and listings of all the companies under the EU Pavilion 2011.
